In class we were asked: What is ‘entrepreneurship’? My first thoughts were:
- Creativity
- Marketing
- Making your own name
- Medialiteracity
- Choosing your role in the process
- Being open-minded
We talked about the different aspects of entrepreneurship. You can tell when you’re motivated for something and when you’re not. When you’re motivated it’s not a problem to work a long time on that project you’re working on, but when you’re not motivated and you don’t have the self-motivation it’s going to be a hard time for you.
In class the key to get the children involved is getting them motivated. When they are motivated they won’t complain about the time or that it’s difficult. They want to tackle the problems and getting the answers they want.
Our teacher Stefan gave us an link where we had to answer a lot of questions about our own entrepreneurship. This are
my results:
If I look at my scores I can tell it’s quite realistic, but some on some results I can’t agree. There are 3 points where I came out strong and I agree with those points. There are 3 points of ‘weakness’ and I don’t agree with one of them. The point where I came out strong are:
- Know what you want; I do know what I want when I start a project. I got my goals clear so I can get started right away.
- Leadership: I think I’m a born leader. I can manage others to do the tasks they have to do and I’m open-minded for other idea’s. I can judge those idea’s and use the good things from those idea’s.
- Creativity: I’m very creative. If you look in my blog to the 6 Bono thinking hats I’m definitively a green hat. In my opinion this is my strongest point.
My ‘weak’ points are:
- Willpower, the energy: This point depends on my motivation. When I’m motivated I really got the willpower and energy, but when I have to do something I’m not motivated for I don’t have the willpower and energy to execute it.
- Looking in another context: I don’t agree on this point. I think I look a context in a different way. I’m open-minded for others their opinion. So I don’t agree on this point.
- Self management: This is true. I’m not the best self-manager there is. When I have to do something I delay it. I’m not happy whit this part of myself, but I’m working on it and I try to manage myself.

If you look at this image. What's the best way to solve a problem?
Is it the green person who dodge a problem?
Or is it the red person who thinks a problem could be an opportunity for new idea's?
When you think about the different ways there is no good or wrong. It's just they way you handle a problem.
